Leanne has extensive experience both in New Zealand and in Japan. Leanne was the Japanese teacher at Shirley Boys’ High School until 2010. She left here to go back to teaching a combination of Japanese to exchange students in Japan and English to Japanese nationals – her main role being to teach Japanese to students from Tonga and Thailand. She has valuable experience helping students to settle in, develop confidence and learn in an environment where English is not their first language.
