Urgent Homestays Needed — 5 Schools Exchange

Hosting Dates: April 19 – May 2

We are nearly there! We have successfully placed most of our visitors, but we still have a critical need for just 9 more host families to look after our international guests from Japan, China, and Australia.

This is a wonderful chance for your family to share our Kiwi culture and build lifelong global friendships.

What is Required?

  • A Warm Welcome: Provide a safe home and meals for the duration of the visit.
  • Transport: Provide transport to and from SBHS.
  • Celebration: Attend our Farewell Party on May 1st.

Action Required: Registration & Police Vetting To officially proceed as per school policy, all hosts must:

  1. Register: Complete the Host Family Registration Form
  2. Police Vetting: A check is required for every person aged 18+ in the home. Please return the Police Vetting Form (attached) along with two forms of ID (e.g., Passport and Driver’s Licence) for each adult.

Our Appreciation To show our gratitude for your family’s generosity, the school provides a $300 koha. This is processed once documentation is finalised and the placement is confirmed.
