Next week is our annual Year 9 OED Day. The purpose of this day is to introduce the concept of the “Shirley Man” to the new Year 9 students. It also allows them to continue building stronger relationships within their teaching class as well as with teachers and senior prefects from their house.
This year the boys will participate in two activities. These are planting native plants and problem solving/team building. Two Year 9 classes go each day but they operate separately doing different activities.
Classes and dates:
Monday 10th February – 9M and 9D
Tuesday 11th February – 9F and 9E
Wednesday 12th February – 9R and 9P
Thursday 13th February – 9H, 9G and 9J (9J will be split in half)
Friday 14th February – 9S and 9N
Meet by Travis Road Carpark ( cultural courtyard) at 8:35am. Students will return to school by 3pm each day. (Wednesday and Friday by 2.30pm).
Wear: PE shorts, House shirt, PE shoes
Bring: lunch, snacks, water bottle, warm top, jacket
